Heya guys, i'm trying to see if I can upgrade my processor chip in my laptop, however I only get as far as to google what it could be. There are sites that show up, but none that say what processor's are compatible with this motherboard. It's a bit outdated, probably 2010 or so.. but I could really use some help on this. thanks guys :)

In the long run, in my opinion, it'll probably cost you more to 'upgrade' that it will to buy a new laptop. Save yourself some work and worry. It's not going to be a matter of just upgrading the processor. You'll probably have to add RAM, change the video chips, CMOS, and a number of other things. Not worth it on a laptop.

Just sayin' ...:/

Yeah, laptop parts are much more expensive than desktop parts are so not always a cost effective thing to upgrade them.

I agree with Gunsmoke. Upgrading the processor will just be the first link in the chain of all sorts of upgrades which then will become necessary.

Yup, unless it's a customized laptop an off the shelf unit probably isn't worth it.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.
