I'm still in the process but here it is -
Doamin: www.thefieryrose.com
Name: The Fiery Rose
Description: "Gallery of Original Artworks". Mom paints
and I make jewelry, (mostly loom-beaded) I
also do clayworks and woodworking. Mom is
an ordained minister and I am a published
poet so there is a link on our site that
takes you to a page called "Somewhere in The
Heart", where mom will post some of her
teachings and I will post my poems.
Tools Used: CC VSD, Pix Converter, Flash Menu, FTP,
MS Publisher and Paint. (I think I got
them all!)
Author: Brenda Lynch (me!)
After a week of being up until 3:00 or 4:00 in the morning I think I can say that I'm no longer a virgin at this. I don't have as many brain cells as I did when I started and the ones I have left are bit sluggish and as frustrating as it's been it's also been educational and kind of fun!
I'm a fairly intelligent woman but if I were a genious I'd have the money to pay someone to do this for me so - If anyone does check out my site and has any suggestions or comments - I'll welcome them!
Thanks!

My first site is
www.catalinathirty.com
A site cataloging the restoration of a 1974 Catalina 30 sailboat.
The C30 was and is the most successful racing / cruiser ever built.
Of nearly 7000 built, ours is number 8.
The site will eventually be a repository for technical articles on theses boats for all to access.
The site was designed with CC Visual Site Designer, in my opinion it's a great program, affordable, stable and a very short learning curve.
I liked the results so much I'm working on my business site now, www.boyddesign.ca

Our personal site www.grandbanks42.com
My second site: http://www.zlocation.com
On this site you can geocode and map your YouTube videos, search for videos in your near etc. You can for example present your neighbourhood on the YouTube and show where it is located on zlocation.com. According to the
ratings I want to pronounce each month the best location, best place to live in the world. At the moment I have only few example videos, but I hope there will be more in the future.

Hi Karin,
I know it's been a while since you last posted here, but if you're still checking in, I have a recommendation:
Switch to the latest version of VisualSite Designer! Go to http://www.coffeecup.com/help and log in with your e-mail address and password to get the latest version.
Once you have that, open your page in VSD, re-save it, and re-upload it. The latest version of VSD has added compatibility for more browsers, so you may not see the benefit in Internet Explorer, but other web browsers will thank you for it.

Walter, I don't know if you come back here to see if anyone has reviewed or not, but here goes.
A well written website for sure....I would say "idiot proof" websites don't exist, but yours is pretty close to it. You might loose the odd person on the "my services" page. The only thing available is 2 more links, and once the user chooses one of those, they go off the that page, with no way to read up on the other service. They have to go back to the "my services" page, remember what link they took and choose the other one. Those who are not computer savy will miss this, and could be confused about how to get to the other link that they know they saw, but can't find again.
Found a possible spelling error on the "speaking services" page. This line of text may be correct, and it could just be me:
My hope is that my sharing my experiences, I can help others avoid the pitfalls
Did you mean to say:
My hope is that by sharing my experiences
The site not only looks professional, it is professional. Great job!

www.mainsites.ca is my website, and yes, some of it is crappy.

Cliff: Thank you for taking the time to respond. I appreciate your comments. I agree with you about the "services" page. I need to consolidate that into one page, not three. It adds an extra step with no value to the visitor.
Good job on the typo. I've been so busy promoting my writing services that I haven't looked at the "speaking" page for some time. I need to re-write the entire page.
Hopefully, I can make time for these changes in the next several weeks. (The typo is already changed.)
Thank you again for your time. Have a great day.
