Thanks for your compliment on my portfolio and avatar portfolio. There are a few websites out there that offer talking avatars. Most of those offer are limited to avatars created by them.

The avatars on my website have been done by me as I can animate any image, cartoon or 3d image. I also am learning daz3d in order to create my own 3d images or 3d images from clients pictures if they so wish.

Bill, really great site. Liked you front page pic. Havn't been on a cruise in 22 years and it makes me think a bit.

Also, you have action on the forum!! That's really great and should help you on the search engines. Having a forum can show your site is a live and well.

I am attempting to build a site for my students to supplment what they receive for their classes via Blackboard. Sometimes, they just need a little more effort to get through to them, and so far, my site has been well received.

I am very much a novice; even Visual Site Desginer has me a little baffled, but I am getting there. it is my hope i can show my success to other profs so maybe they can do the same, or maybe even join forces and have differing lectures on the same subject. For right now, this absent-minded English Professor is stumping his toes and running in to walls.

Hunting around capus to see if there are like minded profs so we can slay this dragon, or at least understand it.

Do feel free to get down to specifics with any problems you may be encountering. Have you checked out the forum area which covers Visual Site Designer yet as there are lots of Folks who have problems of their own which they are airing - and getting answers to from the more advanced users.

Going to try again this morning, then I may dive in that group. Just feel stupid holding back their progress. This company is unbeleiveable.

Don't forget that there are new users coming into these forums regularly, so it is not like a course where the late arrivals hold up progress. The whole forum is a continual "work in progress" and lots of "newbies" will continue to arrive with the same, or similar questions.

Take a look back over previous threads to see if any of the previous questions are similar to your own, but if you can see nothing - just jump in with your own question and then be patient. We are spread all over the globe, so it may be a while before someone picks up on your query, but sooner or later it will be seen. I'm afraid I am more a HTML Editor user and not as well versed in VSD - but there are lots of people who have mastered it and will be happy to help. Just remember though - it's only a piece of software, so keep your cool!
