Well... eh... I can see the approaching car now, and when the movie is finished, it fades out along with the crash sounds, and then the beginning of the movie appears again for a brief moment before the wrecked car comes up. Maybe you set the timing a bit too long this time...

I am viewing this right now on an Eee laptop with Linux and FF. I'll let you know how it looks on a windows system later today.

While still under development this site offers college bound student athletes a way to present themselves to college coaches without sending stacks of letters and videos...

Joseph Brown,

I find your site very pleasing to the eye. It has a well thought out, discreet color scheme, nice gradients and transitions and it appears well organized. Above all, the site has a minimum of distractions in terms of sound, movement, color clashes, etc., and instead concentrates on the subject matter, which is well presented and easy to understand..
My personal preference is always not to use auto-starting videos/sound tracks, but that would be my only suggestion, - and a minor one at that.

What program(s) did you use?

Jimmy,

Thanks! Glad you had a chance to visit. Especially since you obviously know our area. I was fascinated by your childhood- and youth pictures from Mozambique in your bio, - and by many of your other pictures as well!

Thanks for your visit.
I show your site to my wife (www.artedemid.com), she was born at Mozambique Island (Ilha de Moçambique) and... only portuguese has this word "saudade" to describe our feelings...

QuBik,

As I said the other day, the car crash movie starts over again before the picture changes to the car wreck. It is exactly the same on my Vista Home premium as it was on the Linux machine.

I will then abandon the idea of solving the problem. I did all I could and have spent enough time on this. Soon I have a chance, I will redraw a new site, keep the jukebox and video bars but get rid of any movie. It should then be easier to deal with the particularities of each browsers.

Afterall this ain't no cinema, my site is dedicated to country music lovers and I must keep this as the main objective.

Thank you so much Inger and Janys

My new site is loaded and I effectively got rid of the introductory movies. It was not easy to obtain the perfect synchronization plus, people for the most, do not like the use of auto-starting videos/sound tracks as I heard or read.

The content of both Jukebox and VideoBar remains the same, the approach is different.

This is to be my 2010 edition.

Looks good, and I agree, the country music is the important thing :)

(Do you mean the edit number 2010, or is it for the year 2010?)
