We have to be somewhat strict there G'Kar. Just imagine that you a new user looking for help and you saw the thread on the
Hero Element (using that as an example) and instead of getting the info you needed you had to read 25 posts on things from television shows to microwave popcorn. That is kinda nuts. We all saw this in the thread as well for
Suggestions for Video Tutorials We Should Create. We had to delete 16 posts that were not on topic.
We all need to do our part and keep things on track in posts. It doesn't mean that the "fun" has to go either, but just because one person posts something off topic that 20 more people need to as well. One or two posts off topic is full understandable, but lately in some it was way, way out.
That is all Jo is saying.
Also, if people want us (CoffeeCup) to act on these requests, having to filter though a lot of junk makes it very hard and most likely things will get missed. That is why we make these threads so that we can make sure to address issues.
"But what does it matter? Why so strict? I get things from CC I don't even read now because I find them annoying, you can't stop people going off topic, that's impossible. "
All I can say is WOW on this comment! Better not open a support ticket I guess G'kar.
That is my 3 cents worth.
