Bio: Randy is the Director of Operations/Development at Pawsitive Perspectives Assistance Dogs (PawPADs) -
www.PawPADs.org - a non-profit organization headquartered in Savage, Minnesota that enriches and enables the lives of people with disabilities by providing them with exceptionally skilled assistance dogs, as well as diabetic alert dogs.
A US Air Force veteran and United Nations Medal Recipient for his work as a UN human rights investigations manager in Bosnia, Randy Patrick takes on the responsibilities of managing PawPADs' daily operational activities, formulating policies and procedures, social media/website, and planning use of PawPADs' resources toward achieving our mission.
Professionally, Randy is a talented canine handler and trainer, and a retired law enforcement officer and detective. He has experience managing a diverse international work force as an NGO program coordinator, and criminal justice advisor, having lived or worked in Bosnia, Kosovo, Honduras, and Afghanistan. Randy has a BA in Business Administration and an AA in Criminal Justice.
Randy has completed the "Annapurna Circuit" in Nepal, crossed the north american continent by bicycle raising funds for the Children's Hospital in Denver, and a prestigious top 5% finish in the challenging "Triple Bypass" cycle event in Colorado, a grueling single day, 120-miles, 10,000 ft. elevation gain ride. -
