Bio: Old fart in the technology business. Got my first programming job in 1978 working on the Basic/Four mini computers. Helped develop a little idea with Tandy called "PC Link" that morphed into America On-line with dreams of capturing the hill from Compuserve. Never thought it would happen
Figured Web apps was the way of the future in 1999 and I've tried to keep up with the changing standards ever since. I think however, the traditional 'big-screen' web site is going to drift away by 2020 so its important to think in terms of mobile device and tablet displays when designing new sites. Make everything elastic cuz' its gonna need to stretch and shrink a lot over the next 6-8 years!
Love the simplicity of the Coffee Cup tools too. You can never have enough tricks up your sleeves and CC gives us a huge arsenal! Great prices, unbelievable upgrade policy, excellent support, and stable code. You just can't ask for any more than that. -
