can not install calender on a website
I have followed the directions on the pdf when seeking help. As it appears, I still can not seem to be able to attach the calendar program to the website that is required by the non-profit organization.
Are you using a Coffeecup editor like VSD or the HTML Editor to add the calendar to your site? Can you share a link?
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

I am sorry, I am using Xara Web Designer Pro and Xara Designer Pro. I have read thru everything about the install, yet I can not get it to work. The non-profit requested the event calender and I instantly thought of you guys. i hope we can get it to work, because the program works beautifully in the preview.
Got a link?
This is from the Xara site:
1. Find the widget you wish to insert, customize the widget if possible, and copy the HTML Code provided.
The most difficult part of inserting a widget is choosing which widgets you wish to insert in to your web page.
2. Create a Placeholder in Xara Web Designer using either the rectangle tool or even a clipped screenshot of the widget in action and position the placeholder in your page where you wish the widget to appear. Most widgets are configurable and allow you set the size, look and feel of the widget. You should therefore ensure the placeholder is created to be the same width and height as the widget being inserted.
3. Apply the HTML Code copied from the widget provider to your placeholder.
Inserting HTML Code in to a placeholder involves selecting the placeholder object, clicking on Web Properties followed by the Placeholder tab and pasting the code copied from the widget provider into the Replace with HTML code text area. Click on Apply or OK to apply the change.
An object on any layer can be replaced with HTML code. This allows you to link some text or a picture for example on your web page to an embedded You Tube video which only displays when mousing or clicking on the text or picture link.

I finally got it to work. It seems it was a combination of issues regarding the placeholder size and the ftp upload coming from the calendar program. Once I used a different ftp upload and adjusted the size it appeared. Here is the site if you should choose to view it. www.bransonveteransevents.com Again, I'd like to say thanks so much for your concern and guidance.

Hiya Tom,
A very pretty site and worthy cause I might add. I thought I'd point out that your site although very beautiful on the outside, could truly use some updating on the inside to CSS. Would make your updates truly a whole lot easier if it were converted. It's already half way there being that it's not laid out using tables and is using <div> tags for positioning things. What's really daunting though is the span tags being used in line for every style to your elements such as text.
Putting that all into CSS would be a whole lot more efficient. Just a heads up in case it makes any difference
