I still see the activate window for the samples. I am surprised, though, that more people aren't making use of the javascript workaround. Yeah, you Janys. :p You've probably put more work & coding into explaining where to click than to just do the workaround and have no explanation needed for the visitors.

It's really a one-time change, unless you actually use the html file that the programs generate (almost never the case, since most people probably have the flash code inserted into one of their own pages).

Adam, I have uploaded a little video footage using the workaround. However, I am unable to get the bugger centred. url http://www.rchavant.org.uk/test/fish.html

Any suggestions here.

Just put <div align="center"></div> around the object

Janys, I actually did that last night before I posted, and it did not seem to effect a true centre. Deleted and stuck the stuff in a table. No luck there.

Have now redone the <div>, however, now it seems nearly centred, but not exactly. It looks aok in firefox, just IE. Perhaps it is just me, perhaps it is centred.

Believe what suits you best - but consult with your puppy first!

I checked out the samples and I must have missed it the first time. I admit it was late when I checked them, but the issue is there on my PC like all of yours.

Unfortunaately, until there's a real fix that doesn't require putting in special code as a workaround, I won't be buying any more CC software. Nothing against CC. It's just that I am the webmaster at my work but being a webmaster isn't all I do. I have limited time to work on our website. Having to spend more time on the website fixing code, means less time completing other tasks. Not a good thing in the eyes of my boss! So until there's a real fix and programs work the way they're supposed to, I can't justify it.

Just purchased WebCalendar and just having a play with it before Sunday lunch... roast beef takes priority, so must be quick!

I'm currently re-doing our college site, there's a draft at:

http://www.bostoninternet.co.uk/coffee/c2incpic.html

Sorry menus don't point anywhere. WebCal was very easy to integrate and a one-time fix will sort the IE problem but haven't bothered with that yet.

One annoying thing is that it seems to truncate the last word of the drop down message when you hover over date, i.e "test" becomes "tes ...", not "test ...". I see Janys has added in blank spaces to get round the issue.

When I played with re-organising date and mixing holidays, etc, I couldn't get it to display both for a given date but thet may be me and I'll have another look and post something if I can duplicate the error.

Lunchtime..... ;)

Colin - Great looking site. Nicely put together, crisp, clear and easy to navigate. Is that Xara Menu Maker/Webstyle that you used for your top navigation?

I think that Janys adding a blank space is the way to go for now. I am sure this will be fixed soon.

Displaying both is an issue. It does show obviously when you actually click on the date. This again is a know issue and I am sure again, that this will be fixed soon.

I agree, and easy to use and intergare web app. I think that for sites like yours, it will be of great benefit.

Now go and enjoy your beef! Have a good lunch.

Robert it's not just CC software that's being affected by the IE situation. I think most websites will have some applet running that is also affected.

I've got one on mine here: http://www.harriers-online.co.uk/tables/tables.shtml
