csv file #3
I have started to create a csv file to capture names of people submitting the contact form at http://jocospayneuter.org/contact.html. I plan on downloading the csv file each month and transferring the information to a larger csv file then uploading to Mailchimp.
My question: If I delete the csv file on the server at the end of the month will Form Builder create a new one, or do I have to leave the original one there?
Thanks for your help.

I believe it will create a new one and over-write the old csv file everytime you do an export. So if you delete the csv file from the server Web Form Builder should create a new one. I guess nothing to loose to try it.

I had one of those once, which did not get overwritten. I downloaded the file, emptied it and uploaded the empty file for next time. But this was for a custom form, not one from CC.

If you remove it from the server it creates a new one. The same as when you first publish your form the csv doesn't exist until the first submit.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

Thanks for the help. It does appear to create a completely new one if I download the old one and them delete it from the server.
On a related note...csv related, anyway....
I am creating a form for 2 different people(lets call them A and B)...it will be the same form except where the email goes. Is there a way to get 2 separate csv files? One for A submits and one for B submits? They are hosted on the same domain. I hope this makes sense...to clarify...currently one form on the server creates a given csv file...I would like to host a duplicate form (but different contact data) on the same server so when someone fill out person A's form it creates a csv and when someone uses person B's form a separate csv is created.
Is this possible? If so, please help.
Thanks
Mark

If you want to use the exact same form and detect which person is submitting you'll need some alterations of the form files or do a Custom redirect and capture the data with SESSION variables and process it that way.

it will be 2 separate forms...but the same content...except the email where it will be delivered...hosted on the same server...will it make separate .csv by default?
If they are two separate forms then they will save two separate csv's.
