Different emails for submit and payment

I have created a Membership Application form... so far, so good!
I am trying to find a way set up a condition, where if a potential new member would be be paying for their dues (fees) in cash or cheque, or via mail or e-transfer at a later date, then the appropriate Confirm Email would be triggered.

Example, if the money is paid at the same time the application is submitted, the Email would be along the lines of a 'Welcome package', and when to expect their member badge, etc. If a new member had visited our website and completed the application online, then the Confirm Email would need to be totally different, with a 'Thank you for submitting your application' response, and further instructions on how, and what options they could choose to submit their money.

At the moment, the only solution I could come up with, is to clone the first Application form, and each 'version' has each each individual Email response. But, if I make any minor changes to one form, I also need to make to the other. Plus, having to 'carry' two forms is awkward.

I also use RED, to create the email response(s). If RED had the ability to display text 'only on condition' (like WFB does), then I could create one single Confirm Email, with conditional messages.

Is there any way to solve this? Am I unique?

Thanks for listening,

Norm

I think you have posted this in the wrong thread . this thread is for making suggestions to site designer

Right... I guess I was attempting to make a suggestion, but it came out wrong.

"It would be helpful" if Web Form Builder could provide the ability to select a Confirm Email, based on a "condition". Similar in a way, where at the moment I can display a message on the form based on a certain condition.

So, I'd like to be able to send an appropriate email response to the person completing my form, based on whether they "had paid", or were "planning to pay" (e-transfer, cheque by mail, etc).

This can probably be handled through a custom redirect and the session variables that are set.
