Hi,

Yesterday I downloaded full version 2950. I have not yet had a chance to test it. This AM, I checked for new downloads and noticed that the full version is 2968. This did not show up as an update. Should clients be told of the new vesrion?

I also have not given an opinion on ease of use (or complicated use) compared to the classic.

I will be testing it whenever I have time and give an opinion then.

Meanwhile, could someone tell me what the *.wisp files are or do.

Hiya Guy,

.wisp files are the image files that go with the Web Image Studio program (hence w i s p) and are only usable with that program. It's quite an awesome little image editing and creating program that works with vector images so you can adjust, change, recolor, move, etc. any and every single aspect of an image separately. If you got the mega pack for the new form builder you should have that also then as it was part of that package. Give it a whirl, you'll love it I'm sure and there are a ton of graphics packs for sale now too including some pretty awesome christmas ones. :)

Hi Jo Ann,

Thank you for the info. I had not even noticed that program. I'll have to give it a try after I try out the new webform platform.

To publish your form to your own server, go to the File Menu > Export > Manual Server Setup. This will then generate all of your form files that you need to upload to your server. Simply take those files and upload them with any FTP client. We only support direct form publishing to S-Drive through the software.

You have to go through the process to get the code. All this is in the manual. ;)

I did the same thing! Thanks for posting about it as you help me see where I was going wrong.

Even though it clearly states in Step 3. to add the "contents" of this folder, it's first nature to just add the folder... especially when you save it to the local folder with the site files.

It add for an extra step when I have to empty the folder into another folder, but I guess if I were uploaded directly to an ftp first then I see the advantage of it already being in a folder.

Might be beneficial to some if there is a topic with this in the title.

Thanks again!

OK found the solution. I read the instructions wrong. When it said upload the folder to the server I took it to be the folder and all in it
Like so
C:\Forms--
- MyForm- I uploaded this folder
- Myform should have only uploaded this folder and contents
Myform.php

So! all good, I will take the blame couldn't be CC---- Could It ?

Anyway my submit button is where it should be, themes work, Backgrounds stick where put. What else can I complain about.

All due to sitting back with a glass of good ole Aussie Red. Solve any problem with that inside you.
I bet this catches a few drips like me out. A bit different to Eric I can see what I am hearing

Thank for this!! I read the manual and it said once you saved to export it to a text file or a database that the window with the instructions would open up and it wouldn't open so I got the latest update and still nothing..... this was exactly what I was looking for!

So far I'm totally loving this new form builder!! I don't have to try and make sure everything is lined up :)
