Hello:

This is the first time I am using the new Web Form Builder. Is there a way to remove the Shadow/Glow around the edge of the form? You can see how odd it looks for the form I made at www.VehiclePickup.com. Thank you for your help.

You can also really shorten up that form of yours to half its size by clicking on each element and adjusting the Item Width. This could give you a 2 or 3 column form.

It is the transparent theme. I didn't want a shorter form. I wanted a form with the current look. So no solution for the ugly looking top and bottom shadow?

Have you tried reducing the width of the form to match other elements on your page?
(I'm assuming that by "ugly looking top and bottom shadow", you mean primarily the bits that sticks out on the right... :/ - although we may just have different perceptions about that - also... (?) )

I have figured out the problem. Rolly suggested that I use a Transparent Theme which I thought I did but I only checked the "Transparent" box in Form Properties. I guess that doesn't make the form fully transparent. I have now used the actual Transparent Theme and it looks fine. Thank you all for your help it is much appreciated.

Is there any way to remove the shadow (which surrounds the form) without using the "transparent" theme? We're happy with everything about the look, margins, spacing, etc that we setup using the "default" theme. But, we really need to remove the surrounding shadow.

You can see an example of our issue here:

Thanks!

Hiya Jeremy,

What shadow are you talking about? Other than your form being too long (the area is much longer than the form itself is) it looks fine to me. I don't really see any shadows that are at all intrusive or even barely there for that matter. If you mean the actual outline around the form that is a graphic and you'd need to either not use a theme, or remove it from the code. Other than that, a better idea of what shadow you're talking about would be helpful.

I'm with Jo Ann on this one, don't see any shadowing. If you could take a "snippet" of the form and maybe draw an arrow to what you're referring to, then we could maybe all be on the same page?

Hi! Thanks for the input. The strangeness you are noticing has to do with the way the form is embedded on the page (via the iframe).

The shadow is visible only on top and bottom because the sides are being chopped off by the iframe. Also, the form is obviously too long. But, I suspect the Web Form Builder code for the iframe (which is output on exporting the form) makes the height tall enough to ensure that if all error messages were displayed at once, none of the form would be cut off at the bottom. I'd rather the form not appear so long. But, I don't know if there's any avoiding that if using the iframe to embed the form.

If the shadow is coming from an image, I'd be happy to just delete that image. However, I searched everywhere through the uploaded files and can't seem to find it. Or, if there's a line of code I can comment out, that would be acceptable too.

Thanks for your advice!
