Sorry, no other way to say it.
People come to Coffee Cup because the software is easy and plug n play.
The OLD form is MUCH better.
Why, why, why, did you make it so complicated?
Sorry, you want HONEST feedback, you go it.

What is so complicated? Can you be more specific?

Publishing to S-Drive is done with a single push of the button. Cannot get any easier that that! ;)

Now if you want to publish to your own server, that is just as easy too. You can find step by step instructions here at http://www.coffeecup.com/help/articles/ … your-page/

I bet GAWEBGUY is just use to the minimal ability that the flash form had and with minimal ability comes an easy to use minimal interface. The new form builder has way more ability but with that ability the interface is not so minimal. There are a lot of choices and I think the average user might look at it like flock shooting instead of focusing on one task at a time. The best thing to do is to get form looking the way you want with all the elements in place or close to it then go back and set all the properties for the elements. This way you don't waste a bunch of time setting properties for something you find out you don't need while designing your form.:)
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

Look...
I have been a HUGE fan of your products for years.
But, you should first have people try them, before you build them.
I own over 100 websites and can't figure out your new new form builder.
When software builders tell me it's simple, then I can't do it, it means it sucks.
Also, WHY ON EARTH would a webmaster rely on a second party system to run their forms?
Sorry.
Later
Fired up the old PC and used the old form builder.
Done in 30 seconds.
Offer both for the same price.

I am glad you are trying to offer feedback, but what you are providing is extremely general. If you would like us to improve, we need specifics. What specifically do you think we need to change or what specifically do you not understand?

Uh... They had a PUBLIC BETA during the initial release. And during that time period (and still) they were taking user input about bugs and suggestions, and improving upon the program.

S-drive extremely simple. Just exported a form out and that works fine. Good set of instructions to assist.

My view of the S-Drive is that for people who are not webmasters it is a great help. Basically the software is giving them skills that they do not have.

No offense...
I'm not here for skills.
The s-drive feature is the main sticking point and the new captcha.
You may call it easy, I call it frustrating.
Keep the $39

You're NOT required to use S-Drive to publish your forms (and while Keith is right, it's a great tool for folks that aren't webmasters, it has proven to be very useful even for experienced users). It's biggest plus, in my opinion, is that since CoffeeCup is maintaining the servers, you can rest assured that your site/shop (or add-ons) that you create with CC software WILL WORK with no hassles. I'm sure you remember the GoDaddy fiasco from earlier this year, where NUMEROUS subscribers had to scramble because their forms were rendered useless due to a change that GD implemented.

Now, could you PLEASE be just a little more specific about the "issues" that you have with the new program? Because I for one find it frustrating that you are posting these cryptic generalized statements. I don't know how you can call any of this "Honest Feedback" when you haven't really said anything...
