How about a field that is populated automagically from a querystring in the URL ?
There are workarounds by adding javascript to the exported html, but they are less than intuitive.

Would also like to see options for slider fields (so we can create questions that the user uses a slider to answer).

I don't know if anyone else experiences this, but ALWAYS I I have to save and export my form 2-3 times before the style and reCaptcha Keys seem to export correctly. The styles (particularly the no border) never seem to export correctly on the first go around.

Google also is retiring the "secret key" in their reCaptcha API, so updating to the new version would be helpful!

Really hoping to see updates to this more regularly, it is the best form builder I have found - to keep improving it would be awesome!

Hi Chris,

I do believe they are working on this. I hope to see this and maybe integrating Webform Builder with Form Builder and get it all under one roof again.

Glad to see an update to Web Form Builder. While PHP 8 is great, I was hoping some of the suggestions from this thread would be integrated. It doesn't seem to be the case? Am I wrong about this? I haven't purchased the upgrade yet, but I don't see any documentation about any of these suggestions being part of the update?

You are correct none of the suggestions from a long time ago up to present day (mind you it has been a huge and expensive task, not just financially either) for CC just get the PHP updated, hopefully once the dust has settled they will be able to start addressing some of the suggestions, step by step

All,
I have been experiencing bots filling out the forms on the various websites I maintain. I was looking to include a honey pot in the forms as a deterrent with or without the recaptcha but don't see that option in the new version of form builder just released. Any way to incorporate it into the form? Thanks

The basic hidden input would work for this. You can do that with an html element and add some js or css to hide the element.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

add new format images eg webp

minimise css

minimise js

Avoid document.write()

Remove deprecated APIs

The forms really slow down the pagespeed owing to all these items

Developer tools flag the following items on the forms: Unload event listeners are deprecated and will be removed

I include the date format dd/mm/yyyy in my forms but it always sends it as mm/dd/yyyy

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
