I need the phone number thing explained to me very slowly.....
I can't find any way to enter enough digits to create a valid phone number. The program insists on min. value=0, max. value=99999 and force steps of 1 (whatever that means).
When the form is previewed/published it won't accept a phone number (with/without spaces, dashes, etc.). I can only put in 6 digits. I can't change the 99999 to a larger number.

How do I get this to work?
Thanks :D

The "Number" element was not designed for use with phone numbers. It was for, well numbers. ;)

We do plan on including a Magical Element just for a Phone Numbers.

I still need to put at least 10 digits in the number field.

We are not 100% sure yet. Still wanting to see what our customers specifically want control over. Also since the full version exports to HTML, you can change anything and everything you want.

I would appreciate as much control as possible in the final version of Form Builder. The current Form Builder (flash) is so easy to use and flexible as far as determining field size, order, etc. Form Builder LIte is a bust for me due to lack of flexible design features.

The new version I guess might have that flexibility if you export to HTML and then make changes. But, that's not why I went with Coffee Cup. I purchased VSD and other modules for the exact reason of not having to get in there and mess with HTML.

Please, please give as much flexibilty in the new Form Builder as possible.

Thanks,
Galen

In Predefined Options there should be an easy way to translate the Options to other languages.
In the attached picture I have translated it to Danish.
This I have done inside the option-lists folder.
If this folder in anyway is changed or removed with further updates, I'm afraid we have to do it all over again.

If you go to C:\Program Files\CoffeeCup Software\Web Form Builder Lite\library\option-lists you can create your own and you can update the ones already included for translation.

I would also like to be able to change the date format to the one we use in Norway, like 25.12.11. That ought to be something we could do in the Settings.

The same is wanted for Denmark.
Date format shown as dd-mm-yy would also be nice.
In Denmark and I guess this also apply to Norway, the week starts on monday.

Just bought, downloaded, created my s-drive account and posted a simple form on my website. this Lite version has only basic functionality, but works for simple forms and the S-drive integration is so seamless.

I had to remove my form from my website, because "Go Daddy" stopped sending me my email notifications. I'm thrilled how easy it was to add this feature back to my website with the new lite version that integrated with Coffee Cups S-Drive service.

There are some really good comments in this forum; maybe a feedback survey would help coffee cup capture the information needed to enhance this product.

You can checkout the form I created with this product at: www.onestopplumbers.com

Users get an acknowledgement email and I get an instantaneous email notification with all form information...happy again!

Thanks for the feedback Galen,

As you can see in the roadmap we have all sorts of plans with the design part of the app. It would really help us if you could point to some examples that show what you want to do though.
The future of web layout has arrived and it's called CSS Grid. CoffeeCup helps you to get ready with a free guide, the Grid Builder app plus cool demos & themes.

That is great to hear—you hit it spot on with your summary on how to use Web Form Builder Lite!

I took over the maintenance of a site which had 2 forms, from code I worked out that the software was CoffeeCup so I bought the programme.

http://www.lapenchenerie.com/html/booking.html

http://www.lapenchenerie.com/html/contactus.html

Simple enough forms but not so easy in Lite version.

I think people want the design flexibilty of the flash version. The lite is clever with regards S-Drive and export option.

I have changed css code but one problem I ran into was changing the width of input boxes. Width was set to 95% but when you change it all boxes go to new width.

Thanks for the examples Keith,

I looked at them and both should be easy to remake and will look really good with the full version of the new Web Form Builder. Very likely already using the 1st release of the full version, but if not it can be done really really soon after that :)
