Hi!
I'm still waiting for a version of Web Form Builder that works with PHP 8. It's a very useful and good application to build web-forms. I miss it so much!! Does anyone know how to get it working again?

No, there have not been any updates from CC. This problem has been in the forums since Jan-Feb of last year and they still have no fix. Halfway through the year, their answer was "we hired a new developer to fix this". Still not fixed. Then their answer was " If you sign-up and pay for the S-drive for your forms they will work".

Email from my provider:
If you want to keep your old PHP version

Then we will continue to provide PHP Extended Support for you after April 2, 2023. Please understand that this will incur maintenance costs, which we will charge you monthly at $8.71 per contract with a domain that uses PHP 7.4.

Surprised that there's no answer from CC.
I am also waiting for answer from CC on why WFB on GoDaddy server will no longer send emails to Gmail.

I can still use PHP 7.4 on GoDaddy but I hope CC gets up to date.
Live in a steady joy!

Not sure what is happening with my forms. All of a sudden, I get an error message " Your form could not be submitted for the following reason(s): Failed to send an email to (it lists the email address of the person who filled the form out and then the notification email address).

I've attached a screen shot.

I thought for sure it would be the PHP version problem everyone has been talking about. I checked the hosting server and it is set to PHP version 7.4.33.

Any suggestions.

Thanks

I checked the servertest.php and that checks out. It might be a change on the host in the php ini file that is causing it. Did you ask your host if they altered anything?

Hi Eric,

I received a response from my hosting service. They said that, due to recent changes at Google and others, all SMTP mail must now be authenticated and that's why the mail is being rejected.

Here is a link they gave me to solve the problem:
https://www.webhostinghub.com/help/learn/email/email-from-web-page/using-phpmailer-to-send-mail

I have no idea if this information is on the right track to solving the problem. If you could take a look at it I would really appreciate it.

Thanks very much.
