Dear users,

I have few questions which menu items I can apply to further navigate from my page. Can I have in my "Home" menu item the section "About Me". Can I under the menu item "Biography" or is that the same as "About Me?. Is that a good layout I create a main section "Biography" and there, do I create multiple sub sections "about me", "experience", "skills", "interests" and then a button download my CV. I put under the menu item "Services" a sub section "Hire-me". I don't quite know how I best can classify and structure that. Can anyone help me in this.

Kind regards
Stephane

Stefke,
I fail to see the relevance of this question on this forum about Coffeecup products or SD V3.5.
In fact, this question has nothing to do with websites at all.

It's like you wish to build your own house and ask your neighbour, who is a bricklayer, to advise you about having your bathroom in the basement and your kitchen on the 3rd floor.

Hennie is right, this has nothing to do with any particular programme, so I moved it.

I would keep page count and navigation to a minimum on a personnel site. Be clear and concise with your content.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

Hi Stefke...
Dont worry about the disgustingly rude attitudes.

Your solution for the website you wish to build would be as follows.
INDEX not Home. Using Home sounds like you still live at home, the website is about you, your Aunty and pets.
GET PROFESSIONAL.

If you're selling yourself INDEX.
On the INDEX page list links with a very short precis to the pages you wish to paint your profile with.

If this site is to sell your abilities than prominently show a link to download your C>V. at the bottom of every page OR in an upper right box tidily placed in full view always.

DONT MAKE THEM HUNT FOR IT.

DONT over explain yourself.
Try to generate enough curiosity for a meeting.

Dont put anything under the link BIOGRAPHY unless its your life story.

This is a late reply to the post but perhaps some others in the same vein will find a sensible and courteous reply instead of the posessive antagonists.

Neil,

Not sure since you seem to be new here that you understand why the stance was taken toward Mr. Stefke. Before you place yourself in the position of antagonist you should investigate history on the site.

Just saying.....

Very well said
isn't it annoying when people make comments about other comments without a clue why or in which context the other comments were made. I was going to reply myself but then I an not well known for diplomacy
