I am just wondering on charset UTF-8 (does not matter if is upper or lower case) say for instance you wanted a forward slash / the utf code for this is / in ACSII it is ⁄ now on both codes on validation of html5 nether of these codes would validate although although the UTF code has been taken from the UTF-8 character charset table.

so in the <p></p> you would have some thing like
Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet&#44; dapibus. Interdum et malesuada fames ac ante ipsum primis in faucibus.&#44;

Anybody got any thoughts on this?
