On my website MyVideoServicesOnline.com/Untitled1.html I am trying to got the image centered. It's almost like it's not even using my default.css file.

I just removed "bootstrap.css" (the href to the stylesheet) on my page, and the image and slideshow were properly centered (but of course, my menu was all jumbled up as a simple list.) Any idea on how to fix this?

Not knowing exactly how you want your page, but I assume you want the contents centered. In that case, move the end div for 'container' down below the </ul>

Thank you! That fixed it! Also, on the navigation bar (bootstrap), it has extra space in there. Why?

Do you mean the space between the navigation and the search box? If so, give the container a width. You should probably use something like 75% or so.

Regarding the resizing: I haven't found anything in the js file where I can set the dimensions. You can of course make the images smaller and play with the css for the containing div...

no, I was actually talking about the space at the bottom of the nav bar. It should look like this: http://webdesigntutsplus.s3.amazonaws.c … mples.html

and when you roll over our services, theres extra space on the dropdown

We have night time in Europe now, so hopefully someone in another time zone can help. The culprit causing the spaces lies in the default.css, then when I eliminate it, the nav bar has no space under the buttons.
