This is no way affects CC software, it's a different tool altogether, it's in fact a graphics tool, which is absolute cake to use. There is no learning curve, it's a case of picking a gradient and letting the tool take care of the rest. You can get fantastic backgrounds with it, desktop or otherwise, but for some web designs there is nothing better that I've come across. It's called Amberlight by Escapemotions http://www.escapemotions.com/products/a … /index.php the same people that brought Flame Painter. Give it a go it's a free trial. I do the video tutorials for Escape Motions company but I do not in no way gain anything by promoting their software, it's just it's fantastic for web design and I use it a lot. This image is just a mess on.

Thanks for the post G'kar! Always looking for new software to cut down on development time. It's reasonable priced too. Is this tool strictly for backgrounds?

If you're looking for software of all types, including graphics, then keep an eye on this site. CoffeeCup has even used it! I picked up the Flame Painter for FREE a while back. http://www.bitsdujour.com/

I looked for years for an amazing flames Photoshop just didnt do it then FP came out it was great but had design flaws but not now. Ppl have for some reason found it hard to use so I put a tutorial I did and sent them it and now ppl shouldnt have a problem using. CC or any other of this genre wont be in competition because its an art prog not web. The new Amberlight anyone from a 1yr old can use it but it could be in any designers toolkit

Gkar, thanks for the link. Very tempted.
Gunsmoke, I've also got Flamepainter (free) – fantastic time waster! I'm afraid to buy the full version :)

I use both Flame Painter Pro and Amberlight for a lot of my dye sublimation work. Just waiting and hoping that Amberlight will get more than one layer like Flame Painter Pro. :)
