Hi

Please tell me where to start in general terms to use the HTMLEditor ,Menu builder and Form builder to work together to code a html5 css3 responsive site from scratch
what steps do i need to take to get started right ? I have looked at the getting started docs and cant see yet how to start off a responsive site please help

I will want to use a responsive outline for the Html the editor then to insert a few navigation intensive pages so for that I will be using the menu builder, if I can figure out how to work it ( i am struggling right now and thinking of looking for an alternative , i need to go at lest five layers deep with the sub menus and so far I cant figure out how to do it .
Then finally I will want to add a couple of responsive forms within a of static pages

I won't be using one of your responsive Editor themes unless I have to .They look ok , but not for my needs . If I have to; if they can be adapted i will consider it

Looking forward to your guidance

I would start with a theme. Easily altered and already proven. I took a theme and stripped it bare to the base components then started there. If 50% of the base frame work can be done for you for less then $10 dollars it's worth it. Otherwise there's plenty of directions you can go. Some users are using grid systems.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

Here's a basic how-to:

About Media Queries:

Also, Google for 'responsive grids', using a grid is an easy way to get going.
Once you have your basic page set up, you can add responsive menus and forms into it.

They cover all things "net"... responsive design is just one of many topics, not their whole focus.
They've been around for many years as a print magazine, so one can still find their web design info/tutorials on paper – how's that for not being responsive?

George,

For the necessary understanding of underlying concepts of Responsive Design - and an excellent 'how-to' starting guide - read Ethan Marcotte's book, "Responsive Web Design":
