Does anyone know where this is for a free download? Fonts.com is charging 29.00, but don't think they have the copyright?

Tried the first several in that search and nothing....except if I want to pay $29 bucks for a single font from fonts.com.

That download link takes you to fonts.com to pay the 29 bucks.

KIrk,
Do you have any Corel Draw software?
They usually have a ton of fonts on the CD. I'll bet you could find it there.

Well, I just looked of the 2 copies I have of Corel Draw and there is not Helvetica in there. Darn, sorry.
They have ever other font though.

Hiya James,

Although I warn against it as it really is a messy font to work with, messes up some sites when you visit them if you have it installed, here's a possible way to get it free.

I have an account at Mailchimp.com which gives their members a free copy of the High Impact Email Newsletter creator software (the link is obscure so you'd have to scour around the site a bit lol took me a while to find it when I found out they offered it.

Anyways, if you install this program it installs that font. I would imagine you can then go to your fonts and copy it out? Just a thought. The Mailchimp account is free so there's no cost, just a bit of time messing with it and seeing if it will work. I was actually going to do this myself also because having the font installed drives me crazy. It messes up the CC forums text very badly so I always end up uninstalling the program. So I was going to test the theory of just making a copy of the font for safe keeping and then uninstalling and reinstalling just the font when I want to use the program lol. Give it a shot and see if that works for you to get the font :)

Let me know also if it does work to do that or not :P

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
