Manipulating CSS3 templates & family...
Hi,
I am having trouble adding page links to the nav list that usess the default
CSS code that comes with Deep Red template but i cant seem
to get all page links on the one line.
Adding more they just drop to the line below, cant seem
to manipulate the CSS Code to allow just one line of page links.
Any ideas?
Ps snyone know of a good HTML/JS/CSS template to build a
family tree?
Cheers
Ciaran

As far as the family tree goes Google it, there free ones out there. Did you try the float property in your css?
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

I am trying to understand why you would want your page links on one line or do you mean in the footer? Got a link to the page we can look at?
The problem with that template is the 'section-left' and section-right'. The nav is in the right section, and if you increase the width, you can have one line, but it causes a horizontal scroll since it can only expand to the right.
Somehow, you would need to get the nav to span both sections so it could line up with the left of the page.
Looking at that template, I think it would be easier to just use a different template that keeps the header and top nav separate from the main body sections.
Autumn Web or Elegance could give you a similar look (simple header, horizontal nav, large image, 2 columns and footer).

Does anyone know how to add a 'click' sound file when the user clicks a link?
Not sure if a audio tag is appropriate here

Try the attached files, they have the navigation in the center and are accommodated for at least 8 menu items.

Where did you find that family tree template?
Regarding audio clicks: People will soon get sick of that sound, so I wouldn't use it if I were you. And besides, what if someone opens the pages in a library or other public place and have the speakers on loud?
