Hey everyone.

I hope someone can point me in the right direction and save me a load of time. What I want to know is this; is there an easy way to create a website in English, but have a Polish version as well. Ideally I want to be able to click a flag to swap between the two.

One way I can do this by creating the site in English and then a second site in Polish, but things like webforms built by WFB and Shops created with SCCpro will be massively difficult to translate (if at all possible).

I have seen various JS that allow me to do that, but it sticks the site into a Google Translate window, which I don't want. Is there an easy way to do this? Please help me :/

One simple way may be what I did on this site: www.mingas.com

Each English page has a parallel, Portuguese 'clone' with a slightly different name, e.g. www.mingas.com/recordings.php and
www.mingas.com/recordings-pt.php.

It all depends on the complexity of your site. Mine is simple so a simple solution fits... ;)

Would it have to be PHP Per? I haven't yet managed to learn anything about that :(

No, PHP has nothing to do with the parallel languages. Most pages on that site just happen to have the .php extension since they use some 'php includes'.

Click on the flags in the upper left to switch between languages...

So did you write an English page and a seperate Portuguese page?

Yes, I just copied the English page to make the corresponding Portuguese page, and then changed the text to Portuguese where needed.

How would that work if I was to add a shop? The contact form looks easy enough.

Since I have no experience with CC shops, I would have to leave that question for Jo Ann, Viv, Eric, et al. ;)

I have tried Google translate, but that takes me into a separate window within google to translate it. I want something like what Per has done, which swaps on a flag click, but I wondered if there was an automated way to do it instead of writing a page in English and one in Polish
