No pay needed. We're here to help. Look at the example on this page: http://progrower.coffeecup.com/popup.html
Scroll down till you see the link "Clearing the website folder"

What you do is create a youtube channel. Upload all your videos. There are instructions on youtube on how to do that. It's free.

In VSD just create an HTML box ( there's an icon on the left side for that ). Paste the code from the sample page that Eric made into the head and body of that box. Change the text to read what you want, change the youtube link to your video and you're all set. You can view the source code on my page http://gunsmoke.me/h/videotest to see the changes I made. One thing you need to make sure of, since you'll have multiple videos on the same page is to set the "rel=" and the "class=" to unique IDs for each video so that there is no conflict. You can adjust the width/height to match what you want for your videos.

I had thought you had to hit ESC to close the video, but actually if you click anywhere on the page the video will close.

Good luck with your project and let us know if you need more help.

Thank you, GunSmoke.... I really appreciate yours and Eric's help. I think I can follow my way through your instructions. Been gonna set up a 'my channel' on YouTube, even though all of my videos are on Screencast and/or Amazon S3.
If I succeed in getting my Q&A page to work and look like what you showed me, it will be a very nice feature for my
web site helping all of my students learn to trade e-minis. Got the site up and running already; will be adding this new page...and adding new Q&A videos as students ask questions. I want each to be basically just me, popping up and answering their question in-person. When I get to that point, you might like to take a look at what you helped me accomplish. Very nice Mel, and thanks for sharing. I hope that it does work out for you.

One comment, on your 'disclaimer'...why use a picture? Pics get drgraded and look a little 'fuzzy'. Why not just select a good 'web safe' font and use text? Just a thought . . .

I was under the impression that that much text would load slowly...vs...a single graphic image. Am I wrong? I agree that it does get a little fuzzy....

Any critique or suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks again for taking your time to help me....

Mel

That's really not that much text, and with a web safe font should have no impact on loading. Or very little. I've actually never heard that, but someone else here may have. Still, you want to give the best experience you can to your user and a fuzzy graphic would make me go somewhere else. Just sayin' . . .

Text "weighs" less than images, and search engines can read it. Also, if someone has images turned off (or can't see), they won't be able to read it.

Not a problem. I can't do that, but I was expecting it . . .:P
