New site from a theme
Hi,
I had previously created a new project from a responsive theme but had mucked up too many of the files so attempted to start again. I deleted the project and tried to start a new one. However, the old one still seemed to be there as I was notified when I tried to name it the same name. Anyway, tried a new one and I wasn't getting the same files automatically added as previously. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the HTML Editor but the problem is persisting.
Previously, when doing "New from a theme", it would install a couple of html pages (index, contact and about, I think), all the graphics files and a few others. Now I'm just getting a .wisp file and a .cct file, but none of the others. I can't work out what I'm doing wrong.
Can you help at all? I'd really appreciate it as I am doing this site for work, and need to get on to it!
Thanks
Jane

When you deleted the project, did you just delete the files, or did you, in the HTML Editor, go to My Websites and then Remove website project?
Ha en riktig god dag!

I removed it in My Websites first, only this doesn't seem to delete all the files, so I did that afterwards. Also, before uninstalling and reinstalling, any that I'd deleted would still show up in the list, and if I tried to name a new one the same. I even tried deleting the folder in My Documents, however somehow the projects would still show up.
I really need to load all the files again.

When you create a project all that does is create a single (sometimes 2) file in the root directory of your site that you specified as the home directory for that project. If you delete a project in the program, I believe all it should be doing is deleting that file. If you are having issues with redoing a new project with that name:
Navigate to the directory(ies) in question and find the files that end with .cpf and .cpfs and delete them. Then try redoing your new project in the program and see if it still gives you issues. Could be that the program just didn't get the project files deleted is all. I've seen that happen a few times over the years and usually deleting the project files .cpf and .cpfs fixes that problem. Make sure not to remove them from the wrong project so you don't have to reset up any other ones lol, have done that accidentally too!
Just for your info. the .cpf file is for the basic HTML Editor site that is uploaded to your own server and the .cpfs is the file used if you are uploading to S-Drive.
Hope that helps!

I've deleted everything, even reinstalled the program and I still can't get it to work.
I can't get the html, csv and graphics files for the theme.
I'll try again on a difference machine and see if that works.

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
