Hello all, I hoping that someone can answer this 301 question. Ok we have one site (1st one in signature) that we made so many years ago that the index was .htm and Yes I know it is not used anymore. We have it 301 Redirect index.html to index.htm and all has been working. Now question is how come when u pot in www.nameofsite.com (not a real url) it comes back as www.nameofsite.com/index.htm is this considered normal and not just plain www.nameofsite.com like our other site? I am willing to make it ONLY .html as the main pg with 301 from .htm to the .html is something that is advisable?
