Can I request a gaming theme that can be used by Visual Site Designer and HTML5? I'm really into gaming and am not good with CSS so I can't really build one myself .. yet ;) Thanks - MBR

As of yet VSD can't handle html5, but a gaming theme should be possible to get somehow. Maybe you can find a theme that you like and edit it further. You don't need to write code to be able to do that.

When it comes to the HTML Editor, you can use almost any theme that you find elsewhere. In other words, there are a billion websites out there selling theme templates, and some are even free sites or have free template sections on their sites. If it is an HTML theme (not flash based), then you can use it with the HTML Editor. Worst case scenario is that you may have to clean it up a bit to make it work correctly as sometimes the themes from other sites have extra little codes in them that prevent them from working correctly (usually in the form of a question mark ? in front of the Doctype declaration and in a few other places. Very easily fixed things.

Once you find what you like there, you can recreate it with VSD if that's your whim to do so. :) Do a search for
HTML Templates Gaming

or

HTML Themes Gaming

I'm sure you'll come across a good handful of them :)

One can always be built for you in HTML5 and CSS3... It will cost you, but it would be well worth the price.

Why not build it in VSD?
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

Hello Mat, I was waiting to see if you received the last bit of info I sent. I too looked at your requirement and if you do have VSD it would be an hours work at most to put that together.

As I said in another post VSD is a Wolf in Sheep's clothing and can compete with the big boys in web site design and in a lot of ways out shines them. It's banner's it produces are a good as any made with stand alone software. Once it allows a change of extension for a page it just about tops the pops.

@Eric - I'm not good at graphics :(

@Prism - Am not really good with graphics so the .png's i would need to put these together would take me weeks at the most to crop out my images. I love VSD half my sites are done using it, I enjoy a bit of coding every now and then, but preference to me is buy the theme from CoffeeCup and then alter it from there :D

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
