Hello,

Was wondering if any of you know of a good program to have a scrolling banner of pictures horizontally across a webpage. Using html/css and not flash. I don't believe that CC has one of these yet?? I've seen Wow Slider and Juicebox examples, but wasn't sure if anyone else recommends them or knows of something different.

You'd have to size your pictures for it.

As for WOW slider, I love it, but did you want a 'banner' of pictures like the link above, or would you be satisfied with just 1 pic at a time showing?

Thanks for the reply. Well, either/or I suppose. With the link you gave, can it run continuously without buttons (forward, back, pause, etc.)? I also found this page, but not sure how difficult to accomplish in VSD.

Also, does WOW slider not have a picture banner option? I would be interested in a nice, clean picture slider showing one picture at a time fading in and out too. Does this program work well?

You'd have to get with Eric, hopefully he will chime in here. I'm sure you can get rid of the buttons.

The link you had also looks pretty good. Anything you do in HTML5 and CCS3 can easily be put into VSD.

WOW slider does not have any kind of banner display that I know of. To display one pic at a time there is another program by the same people called Visual Slideshow.

For what you are talking about doing, I would go with the link you had above and simply follow the directions on how to build it. Looks pretty good. If you have a problem with the code there are several good coders here that can help you out. Go as far as you can, then post a link to your work. Someone will help you.

You can do lots with Wow Slider including adding it to your banner area. You can use it with buttons, without buttons, with thumbnails and without etc. You can use Wow Slider for what you are asking without any issues and it works very well with VSD providing you understand how to get the code into VSD (which I don't use, just know it works with it). There are a lot of different image effects in Wow Slider so yes you can do fading and sliding as well as a number of others. Check out the trial of it and you'll see what it can do.

Not really considering what it does and how easy it is to use as well as all the features it has. Makes galleries extremely cool and user friendly.
