Letter spacing is usually the first thing I adjust when I need to make text fit better (get rid of awkward line breaks, widows....). It just didn't seem that it would gain enough space here.
If you use Google Fonts, you'll get use to tweaking the letter spacing in no time

I still would go for one col rather than 2 at that width just so the templates would be easier (larger) to see.

I went as far as fx would go. for some reason it wouldn't squeeze past 320. Strange.
So what are you going to do steve? I like paints idea. One column and reduce the content.

Another suggestion... Change the phone number to link. Some years ago I had a phone # on a white page and found out iphone users couldn't see it. It was automatically converted to a link and white was a default color.
Make it a link and you can set your colors, plus users on phones/pads can tap it to call you.

His phone link appears fine for me on iphone 4S running IOS7.1
It's blueish and both the image link and the numeric link function properly.

LOL Dog font is from a previous post. It was a suggestion Eric made at the very beginning. I used the combination of line spacing and font size to fix this issue.

As for the Telephone number yea I hear you. Have a look in my footer under connect with us. If you had a cellphone you could just click the phone to call me

Didn't even notice the phone link, saw the social stuff, but didn't pay much attention since I'm not very social.
Maybe iphone has wised up. With so many white pages out there, I coudn't understand why the number would change to white (from black) on iphones. This was a few years ago. People would email to inform us we had no phone # on the site.

I can't get to your site on my phone, it says 404 not found and displays the desktop site????
