Every since I updated Coffee Cup last week, I've been having problems with text and preview screens not looking right. Also there seems to be some sort of disconnect between what I see in preview and what is actually uploaded.

I'll assume you're talking about the HTML Editor ??

If so, several things could be happening. Different browsers render your web site in different ways. So if you use the HTML Editors preview function it may look one way, then if you preview using Firefox it may look another way. It all depends on your coding. I'm not really a coder so I probably can't help you much. What will help is if you publish your site to a 'test' directory if possible, then post a link to it here and describe what doesn't look right. Then the coders that are in the forum can look at your site and better help you. And there are some really good people here so I'm sure they can help you figure this out.

Are we talking the built in preview or browser preview?
