This was the first website I had ever built. although the organization doesn't exist anymore, I keep the website going and am going to shift the focus of the organization to technological literacy.

The website was built with all CC software, and I think still to date is one of the nicer designed sites I have done.

What do you think. http://www.supportliteracyinamerica.org

the error page is working on the domain because it shows the url http://supportliteracyinamerica.org
It must be an issue with the index page url or the symlink to the home page

Sandy,

Yes, you would just upload all of the contents (files, folders) for the site to your server once you have hosting set up. As far as the do's and don'ts of VSD, I do not use it much, so there are others more suited to answering specific VSD questions, but yes, it creates html pages.

Hi Sandy, yes visual site designer is html. It converts everything you create into html code so that you don't have to know how to write the code to design a website.

I have recently uploaded my site to a host called hostclear http://www.hostclear.com i've found them to be really good so far and they have 24 hour live chat for if you have any problems rather than having to phone up. They have really good prices too and customer service is also very good, i did a lot of research first before i uploaded my site and this host was the best i could find.

I hope this helps :)
