When Insight queries a website, a hit is recorded as a 'bounce'.
Might you consider forcing Insight to engage with the site longer than 10 secs to avoid the 'bounce' recorded in stats?

You can do that now. Use the Batch File scanning option.

Whoop, sorry about that ...
Apparently it won't let me scan my site by absence of a site map. Is site mapper to be included into Website Insight in the near future, or will there be a Mac version as well?

You don't have to use Sitemapper to generate an XML file. You can use any tool or create your own XML file.
But it is one thing you should have as that is the file you submit to Google show they know what pages to scan.

Srcset values are shown in the image breakdown and so I get lots of duplicates including the page weight being approximately double. Be handy if we could exclude, or have an option to exclude srcset images

Suggestion: Website Insight V4 Build 30, throws a Recommendation >> Minor "Missing Windows Pin Icon" the link directs http://www.coffeecup.com/help/articles/creating-an-ios-home-screen-icon/ which is about iOS home screen icons, NOT Windows 8+ live tiles.
Funny thing is my site has the following:
for iOS as well as the actual Windows live tile files browserconfig.xml, etc.
my browserconfig.xml has the following
This the contents of my Notifications/1.xml file (some redactions for privacy)
I think that Website Insight shouldn't be throwing the recommendation for my site, and that the link should point to instructions for Windows live tiles (which are very cool, every website should implement).

BUGS REPORT - Website Insight for Mac 1.0 build 30, macOS 10.12.4

• Double-click any .wip file doesn't open it in Website Insight? It should.
• When opening a .wip file it should show you the last collected (and saved) results, not start over again.
• When having any palette opened (Meta tag generator, File & Image compressor, etc.) when hovering over a tapped area, accidentally touching the touchpad, stroking the Magic Mouse lets you 'browse' trough the tabs ... on high speed! Not good!
• Sometimes perfectly responsive sites/pages are not recognised as such.
• The image compressor does compress a big deal, but it's shown at the quality of the images unfortunately.
• You can't save the results in any other format than a .wip file (which is useless because opening a wip file just re-starts the insight process. Exporting the results to pdf for instance would be great.
• The touchpad or Magic Mouse touch option even scrolls through the drop-down selections ... please don't!
