Looking at it a bit closer... This doesn't seem to be the internet at all, but an intranet. If that is the case, you'll probably not be dealing with GoDady at all. Does the site(s) belong to a company that has it's own intranet behind a firewall? If so, you need to ask the one who is calling the shots to speak to whoever is responsible for data security in the company, and it will be from there that you get your access details. Then it is better understandable why the owner doesn't want to give you his own access details, he might have sensitive data stored. But you should be able to get your own access, with the permissions and privileges you need to set up a site. It might be required that you work from a computer belonging to the company. If my assumptions are correct, that is...

No, your first response/assumption was the correct one.

The address bar shown in the screen-shot is the same as I get when I access the local Abyss server on my hard drive which I use for testing PHP files. It is unclear to me how the screen-shot would be directly from a site hosted by GoDaddy or the like.

It could be that the websites have been prepared on a local server, either on the website ownner's computer or his employer's network, and then copied onto the server of a host such as GoDaddy. To get the screen-shot perhaps Joe Joe used (possibly via a remote access program like TeamViewer) the same computer/terminal as the website owner.

It may be that fuller information about the exact setup, and possibly the known URLs, would help someone to provide an answer.

Thanks for the response. I believe you have misunderstood, the image is just an example to give an idea of what I was talking about. That isn't just the address bar and the things in the picture provided are different.

Thanks for clarifying that. I guess then that
(a) the answers already given about ftp access will suffice, and
(b) the .htaccess file may be corrupt or faulty, leading to the 403 errors when not using ftp access (assuming that the website owner did not deliberately prevent the access to those web pages).

Joe Joe,
You really should post actual links or true images that are relevant. It only adds to the time it takes to help you. Nobody in this forum will intentionally do anything to hinder your success.:) We often delete things users post to protect sensitive info.
If you get the ftp login access, you'll be able to add or delete content as needed. The owner of the site should be able to provide you with that info. I suggest you grab CC's Direct ftp. It's a great program that also allows editing of files on the host.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

I understand, I just wanted to give people an idea so they weren't confused as to what I was talking about. Concerning the ftp login access, I'm starting to learn that now. You mentioned "CC's Direct ftp", can you elaborate on that please? It allows editing of the hosts files?

I may be out of line here but, doesn't this all seem kind of odd? Someone with the knowledge to tell someone else what files should be deleted from a web site not knowing how to do that?

Hmmm. I apologize if, as I said, I am out of line.
