Google Analytics
Google offers a copy and paste to put Google analytics on my website. Can I do that with Visual Website or do I even need to add Google analytics. I am developing a business web site.
I would imagine you could add this using the HTML tool in VSD, but whether you need it or not is something only you can decide.

Just click on Edit and scroll down to "Insert Website Analytics Code"

Paintbrush, do you know if the "insert Website Analytics Code" puts the code in the header area where Google recommends or near the bottom of the "body" as they use to recommend?
I had to go take a look at some sites since I haven't used it myself (I'm not ready for Google to find me
).
On most sites it was at the bottom, a few had it in the head section. So I'm guessing it inserts the code at the page bottom. If Google recommends it be added in the head section now, maybe this will change in VSD 7.
To place the code in the head section, go to Edit > Edit Header and you'll get a box you can paste the code into.
