Hi, seems I'm kind of getting confused from different answers. .
Is the version of the HTML Editor more functional than the free version?
Is the library function available on both free and paid versions? I don't mind paying if that is the case. Just trying to find out information, thanks for any help here.

I recommended that you download trial versions of the progs you are interested in. I don't know who has mentioned the free version.

I never finished with my profile which is why the change:)
Yes, very confusing, thought I would have made a decision by now on whether CC will work for me or not. Not getting a warm and fuzzy feel here yet

So with the Responsive Site Designer, does it have the ability for Global changes? All I am truly interested in, is the ability to do some simple updates (text, images) and of course our site has a menu, and footer that may need to be updated on all pages periodically.
Thanks again in advance for your help.

With Responsive Site Designer or the new Site Designer, v3 you would have to build the site again from scratch but yes it has a function that you would call Global'

Dano - or Neptune,
If you go for Site Designer, you won't be able to use that ecommerce template you are using now. As Wayan is saying, you would need to start over. Responsive Site Desgner 2.5 (that is the previous version of Site Designer 3) has some templates that can be of use to you. I'm not sure if you will find Responsive Site Designer (in short RSD) on the web now that there is a new vwesion, but you could ask the Coffeecup support directly. The new Site Designer (SD or SD3) does not have any templates yet.
The template you are currently using looks nice, but be aware that it is not based on the latest HTML and CSS versions, which may limit your posibilities. With RSD or HTML Editor you will be using HTML5 and CSS3)

Hi Dano,
I made the switch from Dreamweaver and its templates to CC software quite a few years ago, so I'm familiar with your questions. I had the same ones when I made the switch. If you'd like to discuss the ins and outs of the software (HTML Editor vs. SD3), you're welcome to give me a call.

Did you know that Web Form Builder can be used for both simple and complicated forms and that it's not limited to the default fonts and buttons? Take a look at a form we developed for WindowTinting.com.

Thanks Brian, much appreciated. Right now i'm just wanting something to use to make minor updates to our site, not wanting to rebuild it or anything.
Yes I love DW. I have CS3. I still works fine. I just don't want to get to a point to where it does not work and I'm stuck.

Eventually, you'll have to switch to a different program. CS3 is a VERY old version, so sooner or later it's going to quit working.
My advice is to switch to another program before that happens.
