Hi Folks!

I first used CoffeeCup software years ago and then, for some strange reason, got out of the habit (working away, not enough time ... all sorts of lame excuses!)

Anyway, I'm trying to get back in the swing again and thought I'd say hello.

I've had a bit of spare time recently (yeah, I mean no work to speak of), so I thought I'd try to get back up to speed with CoffeeCup and also my attempts to produce online training, so I've tried to combine the two to help me improve my efforts with screen capture and narration.

Any feedback gratefully received, including criticism (preferably constructive) on something I've created to introduce Website Access Manager. I know, for example, that some lessons go on too long - I must work on making things briefer.

Have a look, and if you think it might be useful to someone then feel free to pass on the link -

Hi Phil, and welcome to this forum. I'm sure you'll find an empty seat! ;)

Regarding the website of yours, it would be better if you post it in the appropriate software group, in this case I'd post it in the 'What were you able to create...' thread in the Website Design and development group. This Welcome and introduction thread is not the right place for discussions, and you would attract more people in the other group anyway, and get more replies.

Hi Inger,

Thanks for that! I'm still finding my way around and thought this was a good place to say hello.

I've now found (with your help) the "Web Design Lessons and Ideas" forum, and I think that might be the appropriate place. Now I've just got to figure out how to move the post (or should I just resubmit it in the other forum perhaps?)

The forums seem friendly places so far, unlike some I've seen! That's great news.

Regards,

Phil

You won't be able to move the post. You might as well repost, possibly with a link to your first post.

Oh yeah, we are quite friendly, although we do have a go at each other from time to time. But that is mainly Jo Ann who seems to virtually smack some people here (Tom and another Phil) with her frying pan ;) I'm sure you'll come across them before long.

Yep - I've met Jo Ann!

You are cruel though - she was very helpful! Mind you, from what you say, I'd better not ignore her!

Thanks folks!

Greetings,

Celea here, nicknamed Red, hailing from Tulsa, OK. Been a very long time (15 or so years) since my last website(s) creations. Amazing how much one forgets and/or perhaps never knew to begin with. True the use it or lose it scenario is my present reality. Yet crossing my fingers to jump back into memory and pull the old files out of brain storage. Hopefully, I have not done a full format!

Notably, much has changed with various developments that I am completely unfamiliar with. Decided to take the grand leap and indulge myself with CoffeeCup software. Praise be to help files, forums and support.

Luckily, I still keep a sense of humor. Learned over time not to take myself too seriously and keeping a thick skin, preferring to accept assistance with grace, even though a bubble may get popped. For me, everyday is a new year filled with many people and things of which I am grateful for.

Have much reading and experimenting to do in creation of a website. Looking forward to sharing and seeking support.
And so it is, Forever More,

Celeastar
