Hi,
My names is Neil, I'm 33 years old and love the internet! I decided to learn HTML just for fun to see if i could maybe get into web design as a sideline and see how it goes. Progress is good, but slow, working nine to five so learning in my down time. I've done the Codeacademy HTML course and really enjoyed the way the courses are so easy to understand. Translating that to my own projects has proved a little difficult, so I'm trying to get as much practice in as I can. I've still got a lot to learn. Computers and technology have always interested me but only an interest; I've never coded anything other than a simple game when i was younger, on a Spectrum 48K! Looking forward to learning.
I'm very happily married and we have a beautiful baby girl. I wonder what the internet and technology will be like when she's older, and I wonder what she will be able to do on a computer when she's older. The future is on the internet and I'd like to be able to teach her something, give her a head start!
Look forward to talking to you all soon, i've read a lot of peoples questions on here and it seems like a great community. Im probably gonna need a lot of help!
Neil
