Hello , just getting started in the internet and began using coffeecup which was recommended by a good friend. Very excited about the possibilities right now, and hope that my interests expand at the speed of my enthusiasm.
Thanks,
Jennifer

Hiya Anthony, welcome to the CC forums and family, love the beads very pretty
Well after hanging around Coffee Cup's site for some time now, I guess it's time to formally introduce myself. I love the forums, the great support, and all the wonderful people here!
My name is Tim and I was born in the Detroit, Michigan area back in the early 50's. After moving all around the country, I ended up in Cincinnati, OH to be near my oldest son. He's the one who really got me hooked on computers.
My first experience with computing was with McDonalds back in the early-80's. I was the Administrative Assistant and sent the daily logs in via a glorified typewriter. No monitor, everything typed came out on tractor feed paper. Goof and you'd have to start all over.
After being frustrated by an Apple IIE we upgraded to a IBM Pentium I. When my son came home on a military leave he proceeded to take the entire computer apart to show me his skills. It looked too easy. Within a couple of years I was building my own, and have used home-built computers since.
Then in 2004 my pastor stopped me and asked about building a web site for the church. I had no experience with web sites at that time, but decided to look into it. After a few lessons from my oldest and youngest sons, I went to work with FrontPage 2000. Got a (bland) site up in mid 2004. In 2005 I started using FP2003, and expanded the site to include our school.
I found Coffee Cup software in 2006/2007 when I wanted a better looking menu bar for the site. CC's free DHTML Menu Builder was the ticket. It worked great, looked good, and was easy to use.
Then as technology advanced and more browsers came on the scene, the old FP2003 just didn't cut it anymore. The site looked scrambled on some browsers, so it was time to upgrade software. I trialed many new web building programs. Some were too hard to learn, others were not much of an upgrade from FP2003. Then I remembered Coffee Cup. Their DHTML program was easy, so after a trial of Virtual Site Designer a copy was purchased and the new site was designed. Yes it took some effort to "change" my thinking from using old technology to the ease of using CC programs. With the help of the great support staff at Coffee Cup (Thanks again Orlando) the site was up and running! The best thing though is I continue to learn new tricks with VSD from reading and posting in the forums here. Week by week the sites get better and have more features than I ever imagined possible.
I'm also using Flash Menu Builder and Photo Gallery, and I can't say enough for how simple and good looking a site built with Coffee Cup's software can be! (even for a novice like me)

Hi
My name is Don Griffith and I live in a small village in southwest Florida. I am married to my wonderful wife Mona. I was born in Seguin TX and went to elementary school there. My family and I moved to a small town east of Houston, TX where I finished junior high and high school. I played football from the sixth grade through the twelveth grade. I wanted to continue my education but my folks did not have the money so I tried out for a scolarship at the University of Houston. I was fortunate to win a four year, everything paid scorarship. I graduated with a Masters in Education, intending on teaching school and coaching football.
Well, the Army drafted me and after a battery of tests, they put me in electronice school. I graduated from the school and was stationed back into the school. I loved electronics from the gitgo so when my tour of duty was up, I gained a job with a defense contractor in maintaining and designing nuclear electronics equipment. I worked in electronics for a number of yoars.
In 1981, one week ahead of IBM's introduction of the PC, I gained a job in a computer store and have been fixing, programming, installing, networking, connecting to internet, and selling them since. I have never woked with designing web pages so I thought I would try. I don't think it will be too difficult if Coffee Cup is as wonderful as all your users claim (I have no reason to doubt it.). I am a real newby so, be gentle with me. Looking forward to the trip.
Don
