In 2013, Scott wrote that SSH keys were not supported. Are they supported now in Coffee Cup?
I created a LAMP virtual machine on Google Cloud running the Bitnami distribution. SFTP on that machine only works with SSH key exchange. I would love to use (and buy) Coffee Cup. But if it does not support SSH keys for SFTP then I will have to find something else.

Same question, 7/2017, the virtual servers I use do not accept password auth at all any more. This is pretty common, SSH only. Far better security. Are we up to speed here yet at coffeecup?
Same question, Feb 2022. Looks like still no access via SSH keys.
"Possibly someday" is now over 9 years ago; can we have an update on status please.

The question was originally if SSH access could be added to the Free FTP. I don't know about that, I've never used the free FTP. But in the paid DFTP you'll find SSH support.

As the FTP feature is included as part of the paid version of the HTML editor, I'm not sure about it being free. Without FTP it would make it a pretty poor choice of editor.
I'm not sure what DFTP is TBH.
Semantics aside, do I have to assume that there are still no plans to update the integrated FTP feature in the CC HTML editor with SSH keys?

There is actually a free FTP as a standalone app: https://www.coffeecup.com/free-ftp
As I said already, I have never used it.
DFTP is the paid version of it, and it has SSH access.
The FTP version inside the HTML Editor has one way of SSH support included, but I have recently found out that it doesn't work with all servers. This has been reported to the technicians. And as I happen to know that the HTML Editor is being worked on these days, we may soon see some more alternatives.

Just installed the latest version of the HTML Editor (V17.0 build 876) but no change as far as SSH with keys access.
Very frustrating that you still don't support this method. I'll just have to keep switching between the editor and FileZilla and ignore the efficient convenience of using F4 to publish; another clunky part of journey that is the HTML Editor.
I live in hope.
