Hello! I once used Homestead SiteBuilder to design websites waaaaaaay back when... I then started developing all my sites using premium templates and WordPress so I've gotten away from the HTML website building. I have clients asking me to create Facebook Welcome pages for them.

I've just tried this using a very simple image/artwork so I know it will work for basic pages but will CoffeeCup allow me to add things like HTML for contact forms or will it allow me to add YouTube videos etc.

I'm putting a link here to a page that has a Welcome page that I'd be looking to do something similar to.

Please let me know of any suggestions you have or if you think CoffeeCup will perform the functions I need it to, to create something like this.

Thanks in advance,
Christina

I really can't answer your question since I have never tried or even looked into it, but that site used many of the plugins from here: http://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/ . Maybe that will give you a start. If I can find the spare time, I'll try to do something along those lines on Facebook this weekend and report back if you haven't found out in the mean time.

Hi! Thank you. The basic "image" though, is a web page that is created and hosted on an FTP. That's my main question. Using Dreamweaver you can create a page and add the widgets or plugins very simply to the page (you tube videos, html forms etc)....I just wasn't sure if I couldn't do that with this program.

I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

Hello again! I don't think my question is being asked properly. I know HOW to implement the welcome page to Facebook. I've done it numerous times. FBML isn't used anymore as described in that YouTube video, FB uses what's called IFrames and to use this you actually just create your webpage and insert into your welcome page with an iFrame application. I can do all of that. My question lies solely on the capabilities of CoffeeCup. Will CoffeeCup allow me to create a webpage similar to the one I've displayed. When I say webpage I'm speaking of only the roughly 500px by maybe 700 or 800px rounded box that has the Welcome information. It contains a youtube video, an image, a contact form etc....

Yes, Coffeecup HTML Editor and VSD will allow you to create html webpages, with embedded youtube videos and web forms, to display in your FB iframe. They both have fully functional 30 day trials. Your best bet is to make use of them.
CoffeeCup... Yeah, they are the best!

Yes it will. Do as Tom suggest and give them the trial run.
