The HTML Editor's internal preview will emulate Internet Explorer to display a preview of your code. However, there are a few things you should know before wondering why some of your code isn't working.
The HTML Editor supports HTML5, the most current (and most powerful) standard in web design, but Internet Explorer 7 doesn't support code this advanced. If you've been using the same code for years, IE7 should render everything just fine, but newer versions of IE will render that same code just as well.
Therefore, we've included the ability to switch between several versions of Internet Explorer to use for internal preview. Just pick another version of IE from the drop-down menu next to Internal Preview Uses in the Preferences window:
If you do choose to switch emulators, the HTML Editor will need to be restarted in order to load up in a fundamentally different way. Make sure to save everything before restarting the program!
