Features of the Keywords Tab:
- Use As Placement Filter: When enabled, any keyword(s) that you select will only appear in the Image Alt Text or Link Text Tabs. This is helpful when trying to locate where each of your words is located in the corresponding tabs.
- Keywords: Taking into account your preferences for Minimum Keyword Length and Occurrences, these are the words found on your page.
- Density: This is calculated by the total keyword instances (how many times that word was found on this page) divided by the total keyword count on the page. Only words located within the Link and ALT tags, including the stop words, are used to calculate this feature. This calculation also takes into consideration your Minimum Keyword Length and Occurrences settings.
- Importance: This is calculated by the total keyword instances (how many times that word was found on this page) divided by the total keyword count on the page. Only words located within the Link and ALT tags, without the stop words, are used to calculate this feature. This calculation also takes into consideration your Minimum Keyword Length and Occurrences settings.
- Location of Keywords: For each keyword found, we look for that keyword in your Title Tag, Meta Keywords, Meta Description, ALT tags, Link text and Body of your page. If keywords are found in one of these locations, they will be displayed with a DOT.
