If you are using Apache as your web server, you can configure advanced security settings for certain aspects of your shop. You will need to be familiar with the .htaccess configuration file format to use this feature; fortunately, we’ve written an entire handbook on the subject that you can get here.
In order to take advantage of these advanced security settings, you will need to enable .htaccess within the Shop Settings dialog. To set this, click the Your Shop button in the main toolbar, go to the General tab and click the checkbox next to Enable .htaccess for Apache Servers.
