Hi all~
Curious to know if any of you have used the embedded forms from some of the templates, like Kerning College or Carrerra Customs?
If so, how do you set them up to send the information to you? Will a simple mailto: work or is there more involved? I'm curious to see how either page will work for a prospective client. I'm leaning more towards Carrerra Customs forms but Kerning stands out to me too. Any tips help, thank you!

You need a backend PHP script to make the forms function, not too complicated to do I could do a demo video, and of course there will be others that probably have a ready made PHP script then all you need is fill in the blanks so to speak.

aw cool that would be great! Can you try out the inquiry form for Kerning College then? It seems sleek enough to work for my practice. I'm learning php now

Hmm I've been trying to learn PHP for years and still can't get my head around all those squiggly bits, usually have to call on the CCup PHP wizard Eric, to cast his magic spell

It must be something to do with the way my brain is wired, I can speak 5 languages but can't remember what I had for breakfast this morning, I can see a stunning landscape and years later paint it into a canvas or paper but can't remember my wife's birthday. I see and i understand the code that Eric does 1 hour later gone

I have more or less the same problem with PHP, haha! (although I don't paint landscapes).

Are you actually going to use the Kerning College template? or just wanting to make a form that looks like it in your project? using Site Designer's built in forms elements.

my plan is to use the template components to make my forms. to me, they are sleeker than carrera, but i'm planning on using any frameworkless template to build it.
Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
