In Visual Site Designer (VSD) simply click on the object you want to place the link on, then click the 'Link' button on the top menu. A pop-up will come up on the right. In that box, at the bottom, click to select 'Document'. Browse to the document on your computer that you want to link to. That's it. When you publish your website the document will be added to your site.

THANX for the tip. I have been using VSD for several years with good success, and have linked many documents. Normally I test it with a preview to verify that it works ... as you can probably see from the problem code, there may be a JavaScript problem or something but it is not displaying my document.

Where is the document located on your pc that your linking to?
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

2 things you can try ... move the document to another directory closer to the root and see if it links. Also remove any spaces from the path and/or document name. Some servers/browsers seem fine with spaces and others are not.
