After VSD upload, all forms...

Once making changes to site, I click upload and when I check the actual site on the web, I see this message "Form Object" when I click on what should be my form. I have to then go back to Form Builder, re-save the code, open the page in VSD, delete previous code, paste new code, remove previous file from site, then add new file, and re-upload. Needless to say, its a pain EVERYTIME I make an update on the site. Same thing happens for Password Wizard, the object is not visible, and I have to go through the above steps to replace it.

Is this a known defect? or are there any resolutions to this issue?

Also, in regarding to Form Builder, 1 form in particular does not show all labeled fields I created. When using the radial buttons, the titles are blank, but in Form Builder, they are there.

These are the areas:
Are you flexible on your dates and times? Yes No
Do you require wheelchair accessibility? Yes No

Well, that definitely isn't a known defect. I know there've been posts where some have had "form object" shown, but you shouldn't have to be doing all those steps. The newer versions of VSD are supposed to actually detect changes made by the individual apps (like Form Builder) so you don't have to delete/add the form again. It's really hard to blindly say what's going on though. :|

I tried a few things in order to recreate the radio buttons having missing text (overlapped them, changed text size/color, etc), but I'm having no luck getting the text to disappear. Have you already tried deleting the radio buttons and creating new ones? Also, when you say they are there in Form Builder, do you mean they're in the Preview fine?

Thanks for checking Adam! I have tried deleting and recreating the radio buttons, and receive the same effect. Yes, in the Preview it shows fine, its only when the page is live, that those options are missing.

One last check so I can see the same...
If you were to open the requestaquote.html file locally on your computer (from the C: drive) in browser, does the text show? At least then, if they don't show, I could do more testing w/o having to upload files. :P

Yes, when checking the html doc on my computer, the text fields are viewable. I wish I could attach a screen print....

Ok, I think I found the problem, but not how it might've happened. I copied the two lines in your .xml file that contain radio buttons for "Flexible" yes/no and the section of code for the buttons width & height (w="13" h="13") are too small & cutting off the text. If you change those to something like w="37" h="19" the text should be visible.

Let's hope VSD 6.0 might also help the issues you mentioned in your first post, coming soon. ;)
