I created a movie in Flash Firestarter - it works great, but I would like to use it on the main page of a website that I created in Visual Site Designer. I tried using the Insert HTML object, but it doesn't work. Is there a trick? Or would I have to edit the page afterwards in the HTML editor?

Good luck, Joanne,
It can be done, quite easily.

A few caveats:
1 In my movie I found "where to go when the movie ends" and set it to http://www.mypage.com/realhomepage.html/. If it is set to www.mypage.com the movie will loop for ever. Note that you can set up a hot spot over a "Skip the intro" text box, and send it to the same page (or someplace else).
2 I set up a separate page (I called it Flash) that contained only the html object with the firestarter code. I checked the 'home page' box on this page
3 I copied all the stuff per the video and Firestarter instructions. Make sure everything is in the mypage_vnu folder.
4 In VSD I did a preview to test it out. Note that the preview will jump to the real, published site upon termination.
5 The fun comes when you want to change your movie and incorporate those changes online. If you figure out a slick way to do this, please post it here.

PS Do not click on the 'mypage' links - they are fake but do point to a real site (Huh?) Heck, you know what I mean...
