Font differences - Post ID 233661
On certain web pages of my site, the font is different for unknown reasons. What I mean by that is when I am in VSD the font is Arial 15px, but once the site is published the font that has a yellow box behind it is smaller, on my page http://ppmrent.com/Houses.html
And then on the page http://ppmrent.com/Apartments.html the font with a starburst pic is larger. If they are all Arial 15px why are they showing as different sizes?

I have refreshed, cleared cookies, Ctrl+f5, that doesn't fix it. I just don't understand why it does it in the first place.
They look correct to me in FX and IE. Which browser are you using?
Can you post a screen shot of what your seeing?

The text with the starbursts are actually images, maybe that has something to do with the difference in size compared to the actual text?

The browser I usually use is Chrome although I have looked at the site using IE and I still see the font differences. I am sure that it has something to do with the starbursts, because on the houses page and the apartments page everything with a starburst has larger looking font, and everything without the starburst the font looks smaller. The thing is I made all the font the same and when I added the starburst, coffeecup makes that into a picture with the words and seems to increase the font size the question though, is why?
Try using a html box and hand code the images.
Then add the images to your site by using the add files tool and add them to a folder called images.
<img src="images/starburst.jpg" width="72" height="68" alt="Star Burst" title="Star Burst" />

Try what Eric suggests. What it looks like is that in VSD your graphics is 'overlaying' the text. It may be as simple as moving the graphics farther away from the text, or creating images using another program (combining the text and graphic) before adding it to VSD.
